WHIPPLE BRIDGE RAMP PAVING
VISCHER FERRY NATURE PRESERVE

The Town of Clifton Park, through the Buildings & Grounds Department, seeks sealed bids from qualified entities for paving the ramps of (1) bridge located in the Vischer Ferry Nature Preserve, Rexford, NY, 12148.

Scope of work is as follows but not limited to:

Location: Whipple Truss bridge, intersection of Riverview Road & VanVranken Road, Rexford.

All paving work is to be done to the NYSDOT Standard as specified under section 404, asphalt pavements for municipalities.

Existing ramps are made of crusher run base with stone dust top. Contractors should use existing material as a base, add material as needed and regrade and compact, type 6.

Supply and install 3-inches, compacted, Type 6 fine HMA for all ramps sloped and pitched to specifications included with this document.

Supply and install #2 crushed stone along edges (shoulder) of new blacktop as specified on included drawings.

Dispose of all waste properly.

Sealed bids must be received at the Town Clerk’s Office at One Town Hall Plaza, Clifton Park, NY, 12065, by 2:15 PM on Tuesday December 9, 2025, at which time bids will be opened.
