The Zoning Board is empowered to grant relief from the Town’s Zoning laws. The ZBA balances the benefit to the applicant against any possible impacts to the health, safety and welfare of the community. When the ZBA does vote to grant a variance, it is the minimum variance necessary and the board may impose reasonable restrictions as needed.
