MOE ROAD CLOSURE MOVED TO THURSDAY, AUGUST 21, 2025 

UPDATE – As it has become more apparent that rain is possible Wednesday, August 20, 2025, the Highway Department is rescheduling the culvert replacement to Thursday, August 21, 2025. Weather, such as rain, greatly impacts the ability of our crews to perform the timely replacement of culverts such as the one crossing Moe Road. We are looking to accomplish this in a quick and timely fashion, and that requires appropriate and cooperative weather. Thank you for your understanding with the adjustment.

Large Culvert Being Replaced, Traffic Detoured 8AM to 3PM

The Clifton Park Highway Department has identified an aging culvert that is located under Moe Road, just south of Balsam Way and north of Huntwood Drive. A major arterial for the Town of Clifton Park, the Closure of Moe Road, will impact commuter traffic on Wednesday August 20^th, 2025.

Some preparation work will be done Tuesday, August 19^th, 2025, to ensure that the road closure on Wednesday will last only several hours. The Highway Department will have all available employees on site to expedite the replacement of the culvert with the closure expected to last one day, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Those travelling in the area are asked to seek alternative routes, using Crescent Road, Lapp Road and Grooms Road throughout the closure. Travelling from south of the closure, Use Moe Road to Crescent Road, to Lapp Road to Grooms Road. Those travelling from the north side of the Closure use Moe Road to Grooms Road, to Lapp Road and to Crescent Road. Please stick to the main roads and not travel through nearby developments.
